Meredith Mitchell

Meredith is our Senior Project Officer. Meredith lives and works in Corowa and has been a member of Corowa District Landcare for many years. She has a background in agricultural research and is passionate about native grasses.

Claire is our Local Landcare Coordinator*. She brings expertise from a diverse background in NRM, administration, event management, and community engagement. Claire has lived in North East Victoria since 2017, and has interests in conservation, landscape restoration and how we interact with our natural environments.

Claire’s work has included delivering successful initiatives ranging from webinars to workshops, training sessions and forums, as well as leading on-ground efforts. Claire has proudly supported over 30 volunteer-led sustainability and environmental groups in Victoria and New South Wales.

Between 2017 to 2023, Claire worked on a wetland restoration project of national significance in Victoria, with highlights including involvement in the translocation and husbandry of growling grass frogs (Litoria raniformis), delivering a turtle protection project that connected community to conservation, and undertaking diverse field work in aquatic and terrestrial environments.

Claire holds degrees in Environmental Science (Ecological Conservation) from Charles Sturt University and Arts (Media Studies) from La Trobe University.
